Home of Guiding Hands hosts ‘Cheers for Charity Pub Crawl’ in North Park

Cheers for Charity Home of Guiding Hands Pub Crawl coming Aug Photo courtesy of Beck Ellman Heald Home of Guiding Hands a nonprofit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities will host its annual Cheers for Charity Pub Crawl in North Park on Saturday Aug from to p m This year s theme Endless Summer encourages attendees to beat the heat with cold drinks at popular stops including Original Brewing Co Mike Hess Brewing and North Park Beer Company Participants are invited to dress in tropical attire Hawaiian shirts leis and sunglasses encouraged for a chance to win a costume contest and other prizes throughout the day The crawl will also include raffle drawings and a surprise at the final stop Proceeds from the event will aid Home of Guiding Hands programs across San Diego and Imperial Counties The organization serves more than children and adults annually through housing early childhood services independent living training life planning and respite care Funds raised will directly benefit these essential services that promote independence and dignity Tickets start at and include one drink at each participating location snacks and a keepsake pint glass Participants must be or older For tickets or sponsorship opportunities visit www HGHCheersForCharity org
